What We Do

The Sustainable Enterprise Skillnet initiative is an industry-led training network of over 400 of the country’s largest production and service sites. It is focused on providing subsidised, innovative training and compliance programmes to embed sustainable and certified staff skills across corporate members.

Sustainable Enterprise Skillnet is co-funded by Skillnet Ireland and network companies. Skillnet Ireland is funded from the National Training Fund through the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science.

Our Aims

We aim to be able to offer our members:

  • Public training programmes in the areas of Lean Six Sigma, Operational Excellence, Sustainability, Management
  • Customized, accredited in-house corporate programmes
  • Blended programmes that can be delivered via workshops or distance learning, i.e. online learning
  • Access to funding and grant aid for training and development programmes

Talent for Ireland’s Green Economy

The Sustainable Enterprise Skillnet is part of the Climate Ready Cluster – a dynamic group of Skillnet Business Networks which includes Green Tech Skillnet and Sustainable Finance Skillnet. Building on the significant progress made by each network in renewable energy, sustainable finance, and clean water, the Climate Ready Cluster aims to transform innovative ideas into practical solutions that benefit businesses, the workforce, and the climate.
