The Lean & Green Skillnet has provided us with the necessary tools to examine our business approach and develop a comprehensive strategy to consistently enhance our operational excellence and achieve our sustainability goals. The programme has helped us to incorporate improving efficiency, sustainability, and our bottom line into our day-to-day workload.
The water stewardship training programme has enabled us to develop and implement valuable water conservation programmes within our facility. Some of which were short term, and some are included in the development of the distillery. I would recommend taking part in a training programme as it was very informative and presented in a professional manner.
The Water Stewardship programme was very useful. We now have an updated water map and have identified the true cost of water for all water streams onsite. The true cost of water in particular is very useful for producing cost-benefit analyses of different projects. I would highly recommend the programme to all those responsible for implementing water savings onsite.
As well as financial support, the Lean & Green Skillnet has provided us with strategic guidance and innovative training programmes. Collaborating with the Lean & Green Skillnet has been a key success factor of our Operational Excellence Programme to date.
The Lean & Green Skillnet have taken a leadership role Nationally in the roll-out of innovative corporate sustainability and operational excellence programmes.
