The Lean & Green Skillnet and Virgin Media Ireland received joint nomination at this year’s Lean Business Ireland Awards. Supported by Enterprise Ireland and IDA Ireland, the Awards recognise and celebrate enterprise excellence achievements nationally.

The Limerick-based firms were shortlisted for the ‘In the Beginning Award’ on their progress made towards achieving Organisational Efficiency. 14 months ago, Virgin Media Ireland reached out to the Lean & Green Skillnet for support and guidance in developing their in-house Lean Programme. Taking a collaborative approach, Virgin Media have succeeded in developing a sustainable and scalable Lean Six Sigma programme that has delivered remarkable results for the business in a relatively short period of time.

Over 400 industry leaders in Operational Lean Excellence and Business Transformation came together in Ireland’s National stadium, Croke Park, on the 4th October.
